August 31st, 2026Drawing on information shared during the Living With Fire Professional Trainings, this webinar will share information on how to reduce the risk of wildfire around structures through defensible space and home hardening. You’ll learn how to identify the areas around a structure that are the most vulnerable to wildfire and strategies to mitigate those vulnerabilities. Emphasis will be placed on examining trade-offs of different possible solutions and fielding participant questions.
Who Should Attend:
This webinar is open to the public and designed for anyone looking to increase their knowledge of wildfire preparedness. It is an intermediate option that is more detailed than our typical one-hour presentations but less of a commitment than the eight-hour professional trainings.
