UNR Extension’s Living With Fire is excited to offer a FREE 90-minute training session tailored for new instructors, volunteers, and temporary staff interested in wildfire education within informal settings.

  • What: Wildfire education training for K-12 informal educators and in-classroom support. 
  • When: June 12th, 4:30-6 pm
  • Where: 4955 Energy Way, Reno NV 89502 

Wildfire is increasingly impactful in Nevada. Come learn more about wildfire in Nevada and what we all can do to better live with fire. This training is open to educators working with students of all ages and will provide NGSS-aligned activities, engaging demonstrations, trauma-informed teaching practices and more. Enhance your programming and receive LWF staff assistance for lesson development and facilitation!
