We're hiring! Community Wildfire Preparedness Coordinator

Living With Fire is seeking applicants for the team’s Community Wildfire Preparedness Coordinator position. The coordinator will work directly with federal agencies and community partners to update and create Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs) throughout Nevada.  The full-time Administrative Faculty position is funded for three years with potential for continuation based on funding.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience, OR
Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related work experience
Related Experience: Natural Resources, Ecology, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Social Sciences, or other closely related field; project coordination or related field

This position requires candidates to complete a fingerprinting/background check.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing and public speaking in person, on radio, and via television, are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with spatial data analysis, meeting facilitation, interpersonal communications and public relations, and/or organization and administrative skills are encouraged to apply.
